What is the Gift Elements Affiliate Program?

The Gift Elements Affiliate Program invites website owners, businesses, bloggers, social media publishers and online forum operators to promote our site and products and earn commissions on sales they refer to Gift Elements. Please read our Affiliate Terms and Conditions.

How does the Gift Elements Affiliate Program work?

You will first need to register as an affiliate. Gift Elements will review your application and website to make sure that your activities match our criteria for an affiliate partnership. We select our partners carefully based on various factors including brand, operations and business matching.

Once your affiliate application is approved, you will have access to an affiliate dashboard where you can generate ready-to-use tracking links. You will also have access to banners that you can use with the tracking links to promote Gift Elements. The tracking links should be placed your website. When a shopper clicks on this link and makes a qualified purchase on Gift Elements online store, you will earn a commission on the sale. Via the Affiliates Area, you will have easy access to reports on sales generated, commissions earned and more.

How are orders tracked and credited to my site?

By carefully following the instructions for generating and placing links directed to GIFTELEMENTS.COM on your site, you will enable clear tracking of where each visitor comes from and who makes a purchase. Links are tracked from your site via your site’s unique Source ID. Every time a user comes to us via your links and makes a purchase, the referral will be automatically recorded and we are informed to credit you.

Can I take orders on my site?

No. Customer order and purchases must only be done on our e-commerce platform for the Affiliate Program to work. We take care of the order, customer service and fulfilment so you can focus on your website and traffic development.

You can choose to promote any of our website page, including product and category pages. Simply copy and paste the page URL into the link generator field on the affiliate dashboard and get your tracking link.

Can affiliates copy content from Gift Elements website?

No, direct copying of our content and displaying it on your website is not allowed. You are also not allowed to display our logo and website pages within frames on your website. You can only display logos, banners and information that we provide on your affiliate dashboard.

How much money can I make as a Gift Elements affiliate?

Ultimately, you are the master of how much you can make. This depends on your own marketing efforts and number of customers that visit your website. Our commission rates vary depending on the affiliate type with payouts of up to 10% available. Your ability to earn will be based on how much traffic you can generate and the level of engagement and trust you have with your audience. You cannot earn commissions on your own purchase.

When and how are affiliates paid?

Commission fees are paid on a monthly basis. All payments are made via PayPal. Affiliates must create and have a valid PayPal account to receive payments from Gift Elements.

Affiliates are responsible for any and all charges, fees, taxes, exchange rates, surcharges and other expenses incurred in order to receive affiliate payments. Please check with PayPal to find out if any of these apply for your account.

What about product returns?

If a user returns a product for a refund, or if credit card charges are reversed due to a dispute or credit card fraud, your account will be debited for any commission earned on that transaction. If a product is returned in exchange for new merchandise, or if goods are lost or damaged and we ship replacement goods to the customer, your commissions will not be affected.

What marketing and promotion methods can an affiliate use?

Marketing methods used to promote our website should comply with the Affiliate Terms and Conditions. Gift Elements designs and produces our own product line. Affiliates can use the commonly available marketing tools for promotion purposes, such as, Pay-Per-Click (PPC), social media ads, blogging, etc. However, affiliates are not allowed to make special offers without our permission. Affiliates can only use special offers that are provided on their affiliate dashboard.

The affiliate dashboard is only accessible to approved affiliates. Login into the Affiliate Area with the username and password given to you.

Generate tracking links on the affiliate dashboard

Step 1: Copy the URL of any page on the Gift Elements website and paste it onto the “PAGE URL” field.

Step 2: Set the Campaign Name.

Step 3: Click on the “Generate URL” button.

Step 4: Start using the generated Referral URL as a tracking link on your own site. All tracking links contain a unique Source ID in the URL e.g. /ref/5/. If you use links without the Source ID, customer referrals will not be tracked and recorded. Untracked and unrecorded referrals are not eligible for commissions and payments.

Step 5: View your performance and commission on the dashboard.

Get banners and artwork

Step 1: Go to the “Creative” tab on the affiliate dashboard.

Step 2: Copy the banner or artwork link at the bottom, and start using it on your own site. All banner or artwork links contain the Source ID that will enable referral tracking when a customer clicks on it.
